Architecture has played a role in the public representation of EU institutions. By looking at the history of EU Council family pictures - portraits taken in every summit with all the heads of state, this text traces the architectural evolution in parallel to the power narratives of the European project. The displacement from palaces and national monuments to multimedia broadcasting sets goes hand in hand with the growth and transformation of the EU from a community of countries to the largest supranational union in the world.

Este texto repasa el boom de la discoteca como tipología arquitectónica en Barcelona. Transitando desde las discotecas para niños, con sesiones matinales, a las discotecas punk, donde se arrojaban animales muertos, se descubren los espacios que albergaron las expresiones públicas de tranformación social durante los años de la transición política y la eclosión del diseño barcelonés después.

'A Synestesic Tale' questions the eye as a sensory instrument. It shakes up the central position of vision in the experience, imagination and building of inhabited space. The skin, ears and nose come into play to bring us into the maze of desires and forces that configure our material environment. This is a synesthetic story that reveals opaque ways of producing space and subjectivity, resonating from ancient times through to the present day.
